I can't pull my foreskin behind my glans

Hi,

I'm 20 and as far as i remember, i've never been able to pull my foreskin all the way behind my glans. I'm uncircumcised, and it never really bothered untill i decided to dive a little deeper to see if anything's wrong.

I (apprently) have a phimosis, but it doesn't really hurt me when i try to pull it back, my glans isn't irritated and doesn't hurt either. I never had a sexual relation, but back a few years i tried a condom (they gave some at school) and i managed to put it without any issue. I can see the top of my glans when i have an erection.

I've never had any problem with my penis, and pretty clean down there as well.

Is there any way i can "loosen" the foreskin myself ? I've seen method out there but i'm afraid to try.

I also really, REALLY don't want to see a doctor (if possible).

Phimosis really should be treated. You may try these stretching methods in combination with a steroid cream but I don't give you much chance to succeed. I tried it too but it didn't help much. Finally I got myself circumcised at 17 (I'm now 22). I am very glad I took the plunge. No regrets whatsoever. I know that it scares off many men of getting circumcised but looking back It was just piece of cake. I hope this helps you a little.

I tried the cream but it only made it feel a bit numb. I had to get circumcised because it would hurt bad if it even attempted to move behind the head which makes sexual activity painful. If you can make it work that’s probably the best thing before circumcision. However if it does get pulled the wrong way while you’re in the act it’s probably going to hurt like hell having it retract all the way

Circumcision is nothing to be scared about. Personally I love having my glans penis permanently exposed. I would certainly get this looked at even if you don’t want a full circumcision.
