As a non-circumcised male, I pull my foreskin back when I pee and hold it there . The reason is I don’t like the wetness of my head and foreskin against my boxers when I finish. I also don’t like the smell when I pull it back to wash it.
Is this ok ?
Thanks to everyone for sharing their replies - I was keen to hear what other Men do as I thought I was strange for wanting clean boxers and glans. I’ve only discussed it with one family member who thought It was odd.But I’m glad Men feel comfortable coming forward with their similar methods of peeing.

It's what ever you like that matters mate. I used to pull back. It since getting problems with my foreskin I can't do it as much now. We have our own preferred way. You have nothing to worry about.
Cheers pal - a kind response! I thought it was strange because as I was going through my teen years, after I peed and was going to shower straight after, the time between peeing and washing my penis in the shower (usually last) I would keep the foreskin back, and I thought this wasn’t healthy. I think I have mild phimosis, as when I’m erect it doesn’t come down itself at all, but I can pull it back fine.
I do the same. Always have done this for as long as I can remember.
I’ve been pulling my foreskin back since I was a kid. My Dad taught me about foreskin cleanliness and maintenance. We showered together quite a lot and as a kid i watched him take care of his cock so I learned to do the same.
I assume that’s why I’ve now got quite a free moving and stretchy one.
I find this odd because it seems the opposite for me. When I pull the foreskin back is when it sprays everywhere. Whith the foreskin in its natural state is when I have control over the stream. Is that not normal?
In truth, I would like to pull it back when urinating because I think it would be better hygiene, but I don't want to make a mess, and I certainly wouldn't to embarrass myself at a public urinal.
I do the very same thing. I wear really beautiful and expensive (yes, men's) satin underwear and I ALWAYS do this, and it works! I sometimes think, also, that the urine seems freer in flow when the skin is back...I might be only imagining that, though.
When I was starting out in work, I was wearing a suit with lots of layers , and my when I pulled the skin down I found the pee was going everywhere, sometimes even my shoes. With time I managed to control it.
Ian, I do the same also. I really like the comment about the expensive satin underwear you wear. Ive always wondered what it would feel like to wear satin underwear, it must be very sensual . Wish I could wear some, but if wife ever knew it, I'd have lots of explaining to do. Ive checked some out on the internet and found it very stimulating and sexy. Do you purchase them online?
Yes, always. I got into the habit of pulling my foreskin back years ago when I was stretching it. Now I always do it, stops any spray and also helps keep my glans free of excess wee. I do also like to use a bit of toilet paper to get the last drops too, I hate a soggy glans!

I just got into the habit of pulling my foreskin back whenever I could, in the shower and when peeing especially. Obviously when erect was the clincher but after a few years it retracted with ease and does to this day. Well worth the patience and effort as I’ve a fully functioning foreskin to use now!
Absolutely sounds like me mate. I’m OCD about pee in my boxers, I don’t like the smell when it comes to rolling the skin down to wash it, when I don’t roll it down to pee.
As long as it retracts with no problems or pain it sounds fine. A lot in intact guys have to manually retract when erect, it’s not a big deal unless the skin is tight when hard
No, I wouldn’t consider circumcision unless absolutely necessary. All those extra nerve endings and the fact it keeps my glans nice, pink and smooth made the years of stretching worthwhile

On the rare occasions that I don't I tend to have some 'Crazy Ivan' pee streams. On one occasion I had four separate streams all going in different directions.
This may sound strange, but I find I get the shooting out in all different directions when I don’t pull the skin down to pee, I also then pull the skin down to wipe the pee with a tissue, and the tissue ends up sticking to my glans - might sound like a joke but it’s the truth.
Yeah, that’s why I do it. I never use the urinal, as I like to wipe my penis afterwards, I will literally shake and wipe all the pee out, as I’m slight OCD about pee in my boxers when I’m walking around.
It wasn’t something I thought about much, until the amount of people I see using the urinal. The last time I used one was probably in primary school, and from then I want able to wipe and for the rest of the day it felt horrible. Are you fine wiping with a tissue ?
Hi cam19 I am circumsized but when I go to the toilet I still use a bit of troll like you say there is always a little bit left no matter how many times you shake it and at the end of the day its waste take care and be safe
Is this true, because I’ve been doing it since I was 13 ( I’m 21 now) and I still have a (separate) issue with my foreskin when erect. The skin doesn’t come down itself at all, but I have to pull it myself.
As I’ve got older, the only change I would say is that the skin rolls back over itself when pulled back.
Your parents ought to have taught you to always retract your foreskin to urinate. The foreskin is actually designed to break up the urine stream into a spray for 'scent marking' our territory like other mammals, but mankind doesn't want nor need to do that. Retractign the foreskin stops the spraying and allows a directed jet.
Also, you would never allow urine to remain on other parts of your body, but would wipe or wash it away as quickly as possible; so why deliberately coat your glans and iner foreskin with urine and leave it there?
A valid point - cheers pal! It’s something I’ve never discussed with my parents. But I’m slightly OCD about pee lurking around my boxers as I walk out of the toilet, so that’s why I do it, nothing to with the foreskin to be honest.
It’s an interesting point you raise about the spraying. When I first started wearing a suit to work I noticed the spraying a lot more (because I was using the fly) and it was going over my shoes, it’s something I can control better now.
When I don’t pull my skin back but I pee. I’ll roll it down and wipe it with a tissue, but then the tissue sticks in bits.
The parental teaching should have been done when you were about 8 years old and your foreskin ought to have become freely retractable (all infantile adhesions gone), so a discussion was not required.
Toilet tissue is not designed for use as a towel! When wet it starts to disintegrate - which is essential for not blocking the drains! It is best never to get urine on the glans and inner foreskin in the first place, by always retracting to urinate.
No matter how much I shake my penis when I’m done there’s always a bit left on the end, and when I roll my skin back go it jus wets the head (as if there was no point in pulling it back in the first place)
I understand your point and will stop using tissue, and just shaking a little longer. To be honest this is something I notice at work, and it’s probably because I’m in a rush all the time.
A quick dab with toilet paper (perhaps double thickness) at the meatus (piss slit) before allowing the foreskin to return to covering the glans should be enough to pick up the last drop after a couple of shakes if you've retracted to urinate..
Your glans will be moist when you retract your foreskin because if it wasn't then the foreskin would stick to it and not be retractable as it should be. Provided you never urinate through your foreskin, that moisture is not urine and so doesn't need to be cleared away,
On separate note, have you consulted a doctor regarding your concerns about the mobility of your foreskin? Sounds like you probably should.
I have not as of yet - I’m still trying to research. I feel like it strange because on one hand it does not go back/move on it’s own at all when erect, but when I pull it back it stays behind the glans. On a serious note, my glans is of a large girth when erect and I think that’s what’s contributing to it. I’m waiting to see if I still suffer from the tightness long term. I’m also looking at regular moisturising and using lube.
Typically, the Dr will take a history from you about your symptoms. They may ask further questions. It may help if you have some photos you could show the Dr.
They will still need to examine you, so you will need to drop your trousers briefly. Because it is an "intimate examination" you could, if you want, have another person there (this is called a chaperone).
It will be done professionally and non judgementally.
Ideally write down what you want to ask, it is easy to forget things when you are stressed.
Mine is exactly the same, large bulbous glans which obviously makes for a snug fitting foreskin. If it’s not causing harm I’d leave well be, once it’s gone it ain’t coming back!

I was taught to push my foreskin all the way back to expose the entire head when I had to pee. I never bothered to replace the foreskin back over the head but some guys do. It’s all a matter of personal choice. ( I had an anteater foreskin and I’m a grower so it was kinda uncomfortable. Don’t have those issues since I went for circumcision )
Even though I was circumcised two months ago, I still find myself pulling the little skin that I have left when I pee. There's no reason to, but I"m so used to it.
I was about 9 when my dad told me to try pulling back my foreskin to pee. He said it would help with my aim. I’ve done it ever since. I’ve never understood how anyone can stand having all the wetness under their foreskin.

I was taught from very young to always retract when peeing and of course when washing.
I was also always grossed out when I'd get a little drop in my underwear. So also from a very young age, I always milked out every last drop. If at home or in a public bathroom for one person only, I also dab it dry with a paper towel or rinse it off thoroughly in the sink and dry it off. Nice and fresh. Much to my wife's appreciation
I don't remember the last time I had a drop in my underwear - unlike some guys I've seen with wet spots and yellow stains.
I got circumcised in June and I find myself pulling the extra skin when I pee. It’s something I did when I had foreskin and therefore, without thinking I still do even though there’s not much to pull!
I only recently started to retract my foreskin when peeing due to trying to prevent balanitis returning. When I retract one time I get a nice pencil jet and another time it’s like a watering can for no reason. Sometimes I had to stop and pull my foreskin forward again.

I have never had a problem with smell. The only reason I started retracting when peeing is I got balanitis and they think it could have been due to diabetes.
I was never taught as a child anything about my penis. So unfortunately i've had a painful learning experience with lots of google searching lol. I never used to pull it back and i've always wondered why my penis was a bit smelly. Now i've started pulling it back and making sure to dry it off with toilet paper and the smell is gone, plus its much easier to control the stream

I pull mine back not always 100% but make sure the pee not interact with my foreskin. I might leave my foreskin cover my glans back after pee if I have time (!!) because most of the time I have to run back to work. It just goes back naturally, or half way.
It’s perfectly normal man. I’ve been retracting my foreskin when I pee since I was a teen. It’s just cleaner and you avoid the extra dribble on your underwear or boxers.
