You don't discuss it with them, or expect them to be able to help at all. If they start talking about it or making fun of you then you say this isn't a topic for discussion. You will have to do this a few times but it will work eventually.
Talk to those who do understand. Are you seeing a therapist?
Don't talk to them about it. It's important to share with people you ultimately trust, therapist, people who have it too. Most people will never understand.

Call suicide talk line and warm lines Google it for your state that's what I do bc nobody can help me
