I have taken care of this garden for 32 years now.Since I found C25k running and the HealthUnlocked forum two years ago, tbh.,my friend the garden no longer occupied pride of place.Even now the present garden project is lower maintenance, less attention and it’s being put to sleep.

Well blow me the garden has just repaid me handsomely.

It has enabled me to self impose an isolation and keep my marathon trotting goal in sight.

Think I can knock off a 10 trot plan going from 15k to 36k in 3k increments and ✅the box by end of April.

Not much prep required re fuelling, will be very straight forward, hydrate and feed every 5-6 k or one hour, for seven hours.Carport will be my drinks station,🙈😂

So pleased that this is a possibility for me.

Stay safe everyone.

Good photo of your garden, or at least, driveway, you have a very good plan regarding those various distances for your future marathon.

Garden is being put to sleep.Yes the driveway is now my trotting track.Did a test 5k this morning.Running on the grass/rear lawn has no bounce, the driveway through the carport to the greenhouses at the rear is just short of 50m, so one loop from the gate, round the garage and cottage, and back is minimum 100m.

So for the marathon it will be 420 loops.

Keep safe Alan.⭐️👏👏

Don’t know if you are into hedges SL.🤔🙈.200 meters of hedges for 32 years is a lot of cutting. The birds enjoy nesting in them.I never was into hedges but learned very quickly they need cutting or they will just eat you up.Mature hedging,80 years old will just do that.🙈🤣🤣
