Update: Since this post first went out we now have details of a runner who needs pompoms!

RunBrianRun has a race on Wednesday at Brighton and Hove. He will be trying to get under 13 seconds!! Go Brian, the pom-poms will be well rested by then and will be waving furiously to get you to your goal 🏃‍♂️🥳 🍀

We don’t have any racing events on our spreadsheet for this week so if you are running a race this weekend or any time next week then let us know here! Maybe a last minute entry or maybe you just forgot to tell us.

If we don’t have any then we can dust down the pompoms and let them lie down in a dark room 💤

If no one is completing a race this week I shall wave my pom-poms for all the runners who are currently unable to run because of injury, disease or circumstance. I know how much my buddies are missing the joy of putting on their shoes and running like they used to. Coddfish , Oldgirlruns and JonathanP to name a few, but I know there are many, many more on the Forum.

So my Pompey pom-poms are waving , kisses blowing and sending virtual hugs

Yes blood tests this week,infection levels still up. It goes down over night but puffs up as day goes on atm 😫😪xxx

Yes thanks Dexy, I try to get my 3 runs a week in , Wellington winds permitting (61kms yesterday) There were people out running yesterday, but I'm not that tough. Hope you and UTS are good.

Hello IP, I am racing this Wednesday evening at Brighton & Hove. I forgot to let you know. I’m having another go at getting under 13 seconds as it’s laser timed. I’m hanging onto my top 10 place by a thread at the moment so a sub 13 would really really help.

That is a lovely sentiment Dexy. I will dedicate this race to all of my injured VRBs here. I will think of you all as I line up. It will motivate me. Thank you.
