Post Covid run

First run today post Covid,I was so happy just to be out in the fresh air,now to look forward to my Trowse 10k on Sunday.

Anyone on here done Yorkshire marathon? I really am tempted as I love York.

Ooh, lovely! Great to have that behind you. I think Tasha99 did the Yorkshire marathon and I'm sure there are others on here who have done it in the past too.

Yes I did it in 2019! It’s not that flat tbh. A few sneaky climbs! I did Manchester 2 weeks ago and much preferred it 👌🏽 I preferred the route, crowd support and overall it was on another level completely.

I ran the Yorkshire Marathon last October and I reckon it's a good one. Pretty flat apart from a few short climbs (mostly to get over railway bridges). There's a downhill just after the start which you have to go back up at the end but I found it was OK. Great atmosphere wandering around York afterwards, chatting to other runners in the pubs.

Good luck with Trowse 10K, that’s local to me. It’s great to be back after Covid isn’t it, I headed back out this week also. You realise you’re a runner when that’s what you miss when you’re sick. Happy running and happy holidays 🏃🏽‍♀️
