O my goodness me, you were a plodding wreck at 2K to go, but congratulations on completing that 15K run, I wish you luck for your 10K race on the 3rd of October, talking about 10K, you have made me think about running that distance next Wednesday, this morning I ran my 66th (Google auto has come up with the word marathon lol) not parkrun. π ππΎ
In all likelihood its not actually "physical fitness" you've lost, its just a little bit of ground on the mental battlefield with those gremlins.... look they say, there's a change in routine, we can make her stop, make her think it's too hard... let's go!! Little buggers. Don't worry. You'll soon have them cowering again! πͺπ»ππ»π
Ah well done and sorry for the late reply! Youβre still smashing it Soarky, so no worries there. The fact you ran on holiday is brilliant, testament to your running gumption! Iβm off on my hols in 2 weeks and will pack my kit - first time Iβve ever been away as a runner, and if I manage three 5ks Iβll be very happy π.
