Windoze and I survived a blustery trot around Draycote reservoir. One and a bit laps for 10k.
Great company and a great run, finished with a coffee and cake at the cafรฉ.

A bit like Plas Heli, you go upstairs, but it's bigger and warmer!

Looks fabulous. Thereโs something about running next to water.

In sheltered areas it was actually quite warm, but exposed parts were chilly from the wind!

Amazing pace!!! What better way to celebrate!!! The route looks really nice - would you recommend it?

It had more inclines than I expected, but it is all tarmac and you get to see lots of little yachts having their own races.

Great, a boys day out too. That looks like it was a very fast 10k Katnap - methinks youโve well and truly overtaken UTS now. What better way to end a run than coffee and cake. ๐

I know! I often remind myself how much I struggled to reach 8min mile pace and now I'm around 7mins/ mile ๐ฎ

๐คฃ trust you to delve deeper into the stats! I was running at just under target marathon pace until a longer downhill section around 7.8k where I was given permission to finish at 5k pace!
Always good to finish strong although the final km was tough!

Ah that explains it! I do love my stats. ๐

Looks like you boys had a great day out too. Running by water is often pretty but can lead to blustery winds. Well done guys.
