I graduated C25K this morning, as part of the Bognor Prom 10K. It was very warm obviously and, given my medical history over the last year or so, I took it easy and followed Denise Lewis’s instructions to the letter!
Once I’d completed that part of the run I walked/ran the remainder. I had no particular plan as I just wanted to make sure I graduated again.
The support of the crowds was great and really helped me get through it all. I’m immensely grateful to my family, friends and the running community for getting me to where I am now. Things could have been very, very different without my running to give me something to aim for!

Great news David; you have stuck to your plan and achieved the success you deserve. Fine looking medal as well. I was tempted to say brilliant day’s work …but this is really the latest stage of a plan stretching over months. 👍
Thanks Beachcomber66 and the plan isn’t finished yet 😊 I’ve got just a couple more events booked, but they’re later in the year. For now I’m going to concentrate on consolidating my progress and returning to my running club 👍
We’re really proud of you too David, you are inspirational! Congratulations for both graduating and completing the 10k, you deserve a much bigger medal! 👏👏👏🥳
Well David, what can I say? A) you’re a superstar and after what you’ve been through, I can’t believe how well you’ve done. And B) that is absolutely gorgeous bling! 😍
Really well done! I had Denise Lewis as my C25K coach recently too. She’s ace.
Double congratulations David_G - both on completing C25K and the Bognor prom 10k!👏👏 So pleased for you and looking forward to seeing what you do next to inspire us all! 🙂
