That is such a beautiful message, thank you so much! GTFC is the best 💞Wow - I remember doing my ‘Class to 2k’ programme with Year 6 post SATs 🤣 I am still teaching, yes! I do try and encourage them as much as I can. I hope that by telling them about my running, they’ll be inspired, but I probably just bore them 🤣 I do think they struggle to imagine me as a runner 😬

If your class struggle to see you as a runner, perhaps it is time to take them for a run. 😊🏃🏻‍♀️🏃‍♀️🏃🏻‍♂️🏃🏻‍♂️🏃🏻‍♀️🏃‍♀️🏃🏻‍♂️🏃🏻‍♂️🏃🏻‍♀️🏃‍♀️🏃🏻‍♂️🏃🏻‍♂️I am well thank you (although of course the world news is more than concerning) You may not of read that I had a bad knee injury from a gardening fall back in August 2020: fractures, meniscus tear, Baker's cyst, cellulitis and arthritis (presumably not from my fall) were all subsequently diagnosed by various appointments, x-rays and scans. Crutches and leg brace needed and clearly running had to wait. I seem to be appreciating my health and fitness all the more for having had another period when I couldn't walk, yet alone run. I had previously fractured my pelvis falling off my bicycle on black ice while I was still teaching in school seems like ages ago now. So running three times a week is continuing after a very slow build up as my knee troubles improved. 😊🏃🏻‍♀️

I love running in the playground with the kids. Although it’s not so easy in work gear, I try my best to win! Obviously the sporty ones are way faster than me but I bet I could run further 💪🏽🤣 Not that I’m trying to beat them or anything 🤔😬
