Planning on the Run.

Set forth with some thoughts and just enjoying trying to figure some stuff out.

I can draw a line under my initial seven runs of 5k/6.5k/7.5k/ 8.4k/10.8k /12k/15k between May 2nd-May 19th.It’s close to building from 1 hour to 3hours in my first three weeks. The laps and loops are influencing some of the odd numbers. But I am happy I could repeat it if needed in the future.

For week 4 and building onwards I am going to continue with a 18k/ HM/ ?/ etc long runs. My second run of the week will also be 18k but crunched into 3x6k’s.I need to start somewhere to crossover to trialing the crunching strategy and when to call off the weekly long run in favour of 3x14.15k,4x10.6 & 4x12.5 k.

Having only been to 31k before via a three week direct route of 10k/20k/31k ( madness and not to be repeated) really not sure about it’s value at present in the context of my crunching plan.I am like a kid in a candy store I want to hold onto loads of stuff.

I am sure it will be much clearer following a few more runs.

Posted twice today, but just needed to make a note to myself while I remembered my thoughts following today’s run.Strange what a 0455 start can do to you on a glorious morning. That was part of trialing work also.lol.

A very early start for you today Tbae, five to five in the morning for your run, as the sun rises, well done, that running plan looks quite complicated to me, but at least you know how to plan it out, apart from that candy store bit, I wish you good luck for your running plan to run a marathon and a ultra marathon, probably later this year or next year. 🏃🏾👍

I saw that early start Tbae and was so impressed. Your commitment and determination made an impression on me, and I thought of you when I was flagging on my own little (but challenging for me) run today. It made me think twice about slowing to walk, and was just what I needed as I felt stronger then and pushed through! The magic thread is still working! 🏃‍♀️🏃‍♂️🏃‍♀️🏃‍♂️🏃‍♀️❤xxx

May it always work for you Jan.Wishing you steady and continued repair and the strength to push through. My pace is very much slower than yours Jan and that of course is less demanding. With you all the way with your plans.🏃‍♀️🌟👏👏❤️💪🙏💫⚡️

This all sounds like a great plan Tbae and one you’ve clearly given a lot of thought to. Go you 💪
