First visit of family in a year.School half term.A school in Surrey finished their term with many classes/pupils having contracted the Delta variant. My daughter and two grandchildren tested + ve.
The family of five have now returned home after isolation to resume work and school and some sort of normality.Hopefully further tests will be -ve.
PHWales and PHEngland both have a legal 10day isolation but Wales prefer 14 days for the Delta variant.
My wife has had her premed and the only thing that could stop her hip procedure on the 15th is a + ve Covid test.
Quite coincidentally I have floored myself with a 4 day bed ridden head cold and will be hopeful and happy to get a further -ve Covid test.Awaiting attention of a nursing specialist in Ear Irregation as I am at present without hearing and who knows how long I will wait for a ENT department appointment at the local Hospital.
I have three contractors lined up to do maintenance work this month and because we are still in isolation it will have to be delayed.
I put in 21 hours and 113k during May and have to get a plate full of stuff sorted. My priorities are obvious before I can begin to think about my running pleasures and goals.
Pleased I am not physically injured but my breathing may require a gentle restart when things allow. My one week planned reset is looking more like three.
Nothing going to ever stop me running. The runs will wait and that is so true.
Sorry about your 4 day head cold Tbae, once you get over that you can resume your runs, congratulations on running 113 kilometers in May, I only ran 60k, 4/10Ks and 4/5Ks, however, if I counted the number of kilometers I ran AND walked while doing that COGH challenge my total distance would be around 90K, once a again I wish you luck for your marathon challenge ππΎππ
Thanks Al.You are doing so well.I feel confident I am going to get there this time Al.At least a Chunked Marathon Al ( 3x14k plus a little bit) in daylight hours.Just once to feel that distance.Stay safe Al and all well to you and yours.πββοΈππππͺππ«β‘οΈ
Really hope you feel better soon Tbae and keep getting those -ve tests. Also, fingers crossed for your wifeβs hip op next week too.π€πAs you say, the runs will wait and I am sure you will soon be on the other side of this. Take care.π

I hope you can get your ear sorted out pronto. I was supposedly referred to ENT by my GP but as Iβve never heard a peep in over 2 years I think itβs safe to say itβs not happening π
I hope all pans out well with your family stuff. π€
Thank you IP.Unbelievable more hits.πMany congratulations on your Abassador appointment.Top person and we are very blessed to have you.πββοΈπππβ€οΈπͺππ«β‘οΈ
There WILL come a better time when you will look back at this period in your life and remember it. I went through a period when it seemed like every week brought a new hit. All I kept thinking is that in 5 years time this will all be over with and I'll look back with a rueful laugh. It maybe a stupid thing to think, but it got me through it.
