My friend Amy organized this run and we were expecting horrible conditions with freezing rain last night, but we got some snow too and the temps warmed up to soften the ice and give us some traction and perfect running temps. We parked at Woodbine beach on Lake Ontario and ran out to the lighthouse at the end of the Leslie Spit. The sunrise was incredible and the snow covered trees looked so surreal. There was a coffee shop in the parking lot, so hot coffee and a pastry waiting for us at the end.

Sounds like a perfect run if you ask me, especially with the coffee shop at the end ! Photos look great.
Well done Decker, that sounds like a great run! 🙂👍
Looked beautiful and sounds fantastic, well done. Happy 2021 running 🤗
Oh wow that looks like a stunning run 😀
I really love your photos 📷 💕 Decker you deserve this type of run with the scenery and you've certainly earned your miles. A memorable beginning to 2021 my friend 😁
What a great first run of the season! Beautiful photos.
You started 2021 off with a bang! Such a pretty run 💕

Delicious all round!!
Perfect start to your running year Decker. 👍
Oh, another run to envy Roger! You have some lovely places to run. Happy new year xxxx
Thanks Curly. There are many crap run I don’t post as well 😁
How is your recovery going?
Oh pretty well thank you. The black eye has faded, and the scar on my brow is really quite small. Unfortunately I seem to have sprained some muscles in my chest so running is difficult, but it's not serious . Another week off and I should be fine. It's bloomin' chilly here at the moment, I don't mind an extra rest week!
Wow! Did a road trip around all of Lake Ontario in the summer time many years ago. Great place. Great run!

I don’t think I’ve been all the way around the lake so you are one up on me! It’s a nice place to spend time though
