Very pleased this is now ticked. My legs were soooo tired for the last 2k, but done now. (The first 5K is all hills but once I’m up its not too bad and very scenic) I’ll be having a drink tonight to celebrate. Strava said my 10 mile time was 2.01.33 so quite pleased with that. Not sure how my little legs are going to make it to 22km! 😀

Congratulations, it’s good to ‘get it done’ isn’t it!!!

I am the same as you (though I suspect much taller as I’ve never thought of my legs as little!!) 10 miles feels like the limit when I get there and HM sounds and looks a good bit longer still!!!

I guess it’s like the old C25K days of not thinking we could go on but actually we can and will!!!

😀 Very true. I still remember with fondness my very first run/walk on the C25K. I came home and laid on the lounge floor, exhausted but elated at the same time!

What an achievement 👏👏👏👏👏

Well done you!! How did you feel overall? It's a long way and real credit to you. I'm so pleased for you 🥇

Thank you. Truthfully, the first 5K was all hills, so felt like I was trying to recover all the time. After that it was ok, felt quite good in parts. The last 2K, I think walking might have been quicker! 😀 Feel chuffed though, legs tired but in my head already planning my next one. (Just need to wait for the body to catch up!)

Love it!

WELL DONE 🎽

It's a terrific distance and achievement. You did it. You ran ten actual miles and that's crazy. Celebrate tonight, you really do deserve it. I'm so, so pleased for you.

I’m just chuckling at your alias. How do you go from Dawn to Annette?

Could’ve done Annette Curtan (or Patty O’Daws).

Woohoo! Loving the medal. Great run, that's such a milestone. Congratulations! Now you know you can do it, the extra 5k will be doable. 21.1 is enough, no need for 22 😍

Brilliant job, 10 miles is a distance to be very proud of 👏🎉

You'll be glad to know a HM is 21.1K...no need to get 22K and show the rest of us up 😂
