So long distance on hold for a wee while after going over on my ankle. Somthing just doesn't feel right. I just don't enjoy the thought of a long wrong run, where as before I jumping at the bit. Somthing just missing, I feel I've lost my pace. So for next while I'm working on the 5k till 10k and alot of hills. π© Building up to be able to run to top of slieve croob and back down. So started at the start today. 2k warm up then 1k fast run and 2k cool down and stretches. Was impressed with my pace for the 1k. If only I could keep this going for 5k π, best part I did feel I was too cautious. This tho I really enjoyed and that's what it's about. So I'm going to bed with my running smile again.

Sorry about your ankle injury, yes indeed if you could run a 5K at 3.50km pace your time would be a sub 20 minutes 5K, I just hope that you won't be off full running too long.

Speedy! I think Iβd need to be on a bike to get that pace! Happy you are smiling again!
I was on a bike and cycled "all out" on a measured 1 Kilometre distance and my time was 3 minutes 15 seconds, nowadays some athletes can run faster than that, it makes you realise how fast they can run. ππΎ
