Yes I saw that on the BBC news this morning, best of luck to him.

My 100 push up a month challenge continues for me UNM.

Today the 18 minutes were from 0640 until 0658 am😊

Isn’t the human body capable of so much 😳. I wonder at how folks who are so thin have such reserves of energy 🤷‍♀️

Amazing 😃

I think he can do it this time too! Watched the Breaking 2 documentary a couple of months ago and he is absolutely incredible.

I also think he will lower the "legal" WR in Berlin this year as well 🏃‍♂️🏃‍♂️🏃‍♂️

I doubt he will run Berlin until next year now. I think he’s capable of breaking 2 there as well.

Oh yes just looked at the dates - this attempt would be at about the same time as Berlin wouldn't it?

He had said he wasn't doing the World Champs so he could do Berlin but I suppose the immortality that would result from being the first person under 2 is the better offer x

I assume it’s the 2 that motivates him... if it was the money he’d be running Boston and Chicago/New York. America was really excited when he took the world record last year as it was thought to mean he’d go and run over there instead of London and Berlin.

I was gutted for him at the end of Breaking2... one second per mile out, but he was smiling, knowing that it was possible to break.

Yeah me too! If I remember rightly he wanted to push on and was told not to. Can't wait to see him have another go 😀

He didn’t sprint the finish... so I’m sure it was there if he really dug deep... but I get the feeling he wants to cross that line smiling like he does at every marathon. Maybe he wants a trilogy for the royalties? 🤣

He is amazing! I only recently managed to run a HM faster enough that I can claim that Kipchoge is NOT twice as fast as me! ;-) If he breaks 2hrs I'll be in trouble again unless I can get under 2 hrs too (for the HM!)

That could be a good way of targeting times for you... I’ve not checked his HM PB, he hasn’t run one for quite a long time. But for Breaking 2 and the world record he wanted 61 minutes at the half.
