I had bought a new cap π§’ for this purpose... But it was just throwing it down.π§οΈ
Dithered some more.. nope I'm not brave enough, even after reading irishprinsesses post of her soaking last week.. she's a brave warrior, but not me π£
Treadmill it would have to be..opens kitchen door to get air in.. so slogged out a 6K .. no fun.. sweating buckets. And watching the rain lash thinking maybe it would still be more fun than this π€£

You are sensible sparky66. Most of us (me included) are mad. My brain says, βif you are going to let the weather stop you running you might give up altogether.β Completely crazy!!We need sensible people to provide proper balance. π
I went for a dog walk behind my house and couldnβt resist incorporating a cheeky 5k! It would have been easier to resist if I hadnβt put running gear and trail shoes on! π
So did I. The first music track up was βYouβre Insaneβ ππ. I had to laugh Then Curtis Mayfield was telling me there was a wet road ahead and I mustnβt slip. π¦π§’π
Well, I know some will say itβs my age, but personally Iβve never felt a need to prove anything to anybody. If I donβt like the weather I run at another time. I only run for fun and fitness, not to compare with someone elseβs macho self image.
Well done for at least getting a 6k treadmill finished, i think we've been lucky weatherwise, and not too much rain recently, actualy did a first 10k in a while, sat am, and was quite cooling, running in the rain, it's the getting out, which is the hard bit!!! π€£π§πββοΈπ€£
AHH brilliant you got your 10K run in Peter πβ You're braver than I , but after all the comments of people enjoying the rain... I will give it a go next time needs must πWhat's the worst that can happen eh π€£
