Our pompoms havenโt had much of a rest at all this year but we still need to keep them fluffed up and waving for two warrior runners this weekend.ย
๐ First up is O505k who will be taking on the Sao Silverstre de Lisboa 10K on Saturday evening. A few firsts for her, the first time sheโs done a foreign 10K and the first time for a 9pm start time! Sounds magical O5! Hope you get a chance to take some photos.
๐ Our other brave runner is aliboo70 who will be running the Soup Run 6 miles on multi-terrain on Sunday morning. Just a normal Sunday run for you Ali ๐ค and then thereโs the soup and a roll to look forward to. Sounds perfect for our icy weather here.
Good luck, Bon Courage and have fun both of you ๐๐ Weโd love to read all about it in your post-run reports.
Anyone else out there who has an event this weekend? If so, let us know here and weโll add you to our pompom cheer.
Whether youโre racing or not, whatever youโre doing this weekend, we hope you have a great time everyone๐ค

Thanks everyone! This is a great run with big hill, a bowl of soup ,a Souvenir mug and free raffle entry! Will report back! Good luck O505k , your run sounds like a real adventure! Xxx
Iโm a bit late, so I hope that O505k had a great time in Lisbon - fab city that it is, but hilly! And good luck this morning aliboo70 my pom poms have defrosted somewhat! ๐๐๐
Thanks to all for the best wishes. Sadly I had to skip the event. I have been nursing a strained Achilles and decided that I couldnโt risk running on it. ๐ฅฒIโll just have to come back next year.
