Just got back from my physio who has sorted out my ankle and hip.
Basically out since 23/01/19.
Have done no gym strength basically since then.Have repeated C25k upto week 4 and will just continue every alternative day with the programme run and on every rest/repair day I will restart a gym strength session.
Been advised to break into it as follows,
2weeks at 25%, 2 weeks at 50%, 2weeks at 75% and 2weeks at 100%.
Even after that to get back to 7 days per week it will take a further two months.This is achieved by taking 2 weeks to increase an extra day per week.So to increase from 3 to 7 days.
I think with the running I have 5 weeks of C25k to complete a repeat and then I will continue with a repeat of Bridge, 8 weeks.
So all going smoothly it is a 7 month recovery period.
Never had any idea of that.Pleased I have had the help and heading back to better times.
Keep forgetting and still wanting to be 21 again.ππ
