I always enjoy Abi’s organised speed challenge event.
On this occasion I consolidated my 200m and 400m with 3:23 and 3:59 mins/km pace.
If I choose these distances next time that will be my starting times,everything else being equal.
I am going to start immediately bolting on to my C25k consolidation 3 runs per week,and on the same day,a 400m promenade segment.It just happens to be fairly compatible with 4x30 second intervals for the GFI6 programme.
Looking forward to 6-7 weeks of consolidation and getting back to 5k🙈 distance.Cannot believe it’s over 6 months since my previous 5k.
Guess I am 10-11 months away from my first ever marathon.
