I Ran!

...for all of 20 minutes. But, the knee held up okay. Although it's a bit sore now. Still, there are signs of slow improvement. I'm still seeing the physio and getting time in the pool and on the bike as well as doing daily stretches and exercises. On the strength of this morning the coach is suggesting a gentle 5k on Saturday, so we shall see... Disappointingly, that's 5k shy of what I was hoping to be doing this weekend. She's not letting me run Draycote Water, which is making me a touch grumpy.

Brighton is getting ever closer, it's time to start rebuilding some running and finding ways to manage the discomfort, or I'm not going to make the start line. And that'll really piss me off!

So hard not to get grumpy isn't it.?Especially with race dates looming. Hopefully you've turned the corner now and can steadily get back on track. Good luck 🙂

Draycote Water isn't going anywhere! It'll keep till your knee is back on track. Sounds like it's getting there, too! Keep at it 😊
