I've done marathon distance 5x now and this was the first time I got through it without getting any cramp. Discussing this issue in the past it was often said I wasn't fuelling correctly but my training runs on long distances didn't cause cramps so I made a conscious decision to hydrate more and hey presto!

Thatβs a beautiful, classy piece of bling if ever I saw one Katnap ! You guys were epic superstars, and thanks for the sage advice about hydration. Clearly worked for you! π
Brilliant run happy catty! Great that you were able to shrug off the awful build up and get the job done. Were the rumours about alcohol free beer at the end true? Actually, thinking about it, proper beer after a marathon run sounds like a very bad idea indeed.
I hope that you both shake off the after effects quickly and can remember your day with pride.πππ
Thatβs an impressive medal, and you are a Berlin Legend, it says so. Congratulations Katnap , a brilliant run after everything you went through to get there. It may not have been the speedier time you would have hoped for but running together with TailChaser must have been really nice.
The medal is very impressive isn't it! Glad to see you received the right one. I saw on a forum that some marathon finishers received a medal dated 28th which was the one given to the people who did the inline skating on Saturday.
Brilliant! You both put all the challenges behind and on you went. Many congratulations! I still can not read about marathons without my head shaking at the immenseness of the distance.
