That looks like a nice healthy breakfast! Will be fasting Sunday morning before the race so will be looking forward to something like that for brunch! π
Me too......πββοΈ, Iβm doing the Cambridge Town and Gown 10k too, although MadDave and pinkaardvark will be finished with their feet up and a cup of tea before I get to the finish line....ππββοΈπββοΈβοΈπ
I have had too much carb for my dinner today. Linguine and garlic bread - dreading my race tomorrow. Especially as I'm now panicking about the time it starts. On my race receipt and ticket it says start time is 12.30 (which is what it said when I signed up), but on their website it now says the run starts at 11:00. I don't know what to do!!!!
I made a roast dinner tonight as I felt like something substantial π. Salmon pasta and veg tomorrow, so hopefully weβll nourished for race day πͺ
Look at all the racers! Go us ππͺππββοΈπββοΈπ π π π π π π π π π π
I spoke to another runner this morning and sheβs been given the wrong tee shirt size too. She took photo of herself in hers . Rent a tent springs to mind. Sheβs managed to change hers but Iβve left it too late
Cor it's another cracker of a weekend for running! In the words of my weegie colleagues and friends, GAUN YERSELVES! Have a great day of running and being brilliant π ππΏ ππΌ Looking forward to some lovely race reports after so we can relive your amazing events π
Ended up skipping the HM to push for a sub 60 10km at today's race... finish time 1:01:14 just missed it. Will try again in Nov... Still a 10km PB for 2018
Thank you! 2 hours and 48 minutes, 48 seconds... Faster than I thought. Was dreaming of 2 hours 30, but would have been glad of 2 hours 45 minutes (previous 10 miles was 2 hours 50 with a hill). Fab run though x
