Today I ran my longest distance to date - 7 miles!! Very happy as I set out with the intention of consolidating 5. Iβve run 6.2 miles three times before today and each time I felt like I couldnβt have run any further! Approaching 5 miles today I was in such a good rythym I thought Iβd continue to 6.2. Approaching 6.2 miles I was tiring but thought Iβd push on to see if I could make it to 7. I did and feel fab for it!! BathHalf in March is in my sights!! πββοΈππ

It does feel good doesn't it? I've been ramping up a mile a week for the last four weeks or so. Feels good to push that little bit further. Well done.

Well done - that's a great distance. It's really rewarding pushing against distance boundaries isn't it? Mostly in the mind too I think, if you do it bit by bit.

Good advice for building ditstances there. Focus on a bit ahead of you; then when you get there think about a little more. It is hard psychologically going out thinking I have got to do 10 miles today. I guarantee for the first 3miles I will be panicking about how much further 10 is if I don't pair it back to smaller chunks.
