myopic macular degeneration

I’ve been highly myopic from the age of 10 and as got older my right has reached -17 and my left eye -15.At the age of 25 I had a retinal detachment in my right eye which I was not educated a bout abd as I visited spec savers they diognosed me with elergic reaction and was prescribed eye drops and the later stage they referred me to the Birmingham eye hospital abd was diognosed with a retinal detachment abd had a victrotomy operation and was left with Forvia scaring which is is the middle part of your macula and gives you fine detail vision to read ‘write and drive and caused scaring and a distorted vision.I had my left eye to compensate for my right eye.At the age of 43 I had a catract in my left eye which high myopic get at earlier age.As I was waiting for my surgery my left eye had a a bit of floaters and on the 08/03/2018 I was assaulted and my right eye had 2 retinal tears and a submacular hamrioge.My Opthamolist diognosed me with myopic cnv and advised me that the assault may have caused further damage.I had 2 lasted surgeries and three lucentis injections and from 20/200 vision I got back to 6/9 vision on the eye chart which left a small submacular scar and floaters like cob webs.Which my Opthamolist registered me sight impaired which is partially sighted.U drove for a living for 18 years and it was devastating as I lost my job and became unemployed.I have difficulty looking at bright light and night blindness.But life carries on I have disabled buss pass abd a rail card as my wife drives she takes my 4 children to school and other duties.My Daighters are grown up now so life carries on never give up hope everything falls in to place a mater of time abd there is help out there.Br positive 20/20 vision is in your mind not your eyes or else every one will be genius be positive abd strong 💪 if you need to talk I’m here for support what you are going through,❤️🙏

I'm sorry to hear about all your problems from a very young age Naveedulhaq113, you really have had so much to cope with over the years and in spite of all you've been through, you have a such a positive attitude. Thanks have you got similar issues to me of you have I can give you positive energy.I did go through a lot but stress and worries don’t help life carries on you need be practical and adjust to new way to life.I hope you all the best too.❤️
