Brittle eyelashes

So this is a strange question, just had my third Lucentis injection and find for days after that my eyelashes on the injected eye always go very stiff and feel brittle. Does anyone else find this? Thanks

I get it the following morning and think its run off from the post inj drops dried on the lashes. I open a new sterile bottle of soothing drops, soak a clean tissue and wipe gently. Does the job for me.

Thanks I will try this. I do always use a new bottle of eye drops following it but am always concerned about getting anything near my eye following it. Strange one really as some few days later still feeling hard on that side.

Yeah, my first few inj I had the same, lasted days - of course with not getting water in eye for 5 days there was nothing to wash it away :) Someone on here said they use the sterile drops, such a simple idea but it hadn't occurred to me lol. I don't do it day of inj but after 24hrs.

You should speak with your doctor about this. Any kind of procedure can be difficult if you don't know what to do next. I was talking the other day with a friend of mine and she wanted a lift for her lashes, but not a regular one, she wanted an operation. I've suggested her to try out a kit from nickylashes.com/products/ni... but she wouldn't listen. After talking with a doctor, she had realized that this procedure would be way too expensive and that there are many alternatives. It's crucial to take into account different opinions
