Not feeling well after eye injection!

Hi All, I had my seventh eye injection last week and I have be unwell ever since, thank God feeling a bit better today. On Friday I was so I’ll I went to the doctor and I was in a state of collapse. The doc sent me to A&E and I was told I had an internal bleed and now I will be having a scope to see what’s happening in my tummy ect.

Has anyone here had similar experience..

Hi Yeso. I'm so sorry to hear that, how awful for you. Was it something to do with the eye injection? I have never heard of anything like that but that's not to say it doesn't happen, have the injections made you feel ill before? I have never had anything like that. I hope all will be well and please let us know how you get on. All the best to you. x

Hi, your gastric bleed is highly unlikely to be associated with the injection. Bleeding events are generally confined to the eye itself. Hope you are better soon.

Yes perhaps, I was so well leading up to this last injection and have been so unwell since..

Dear yeso. Sounds like a rotten few days and I hope you are feeling a bit better now. Never had your experience of an internal bleed after an injection but my tummy does pump acid when I am stressed. It might be total coincidence that the injection and the bleed came together but I wonder How stressful your diagnosis and injections have been for you. Just a Thought! Whatever the cause I hope you get it sorted soon. Stay safe.
