Eye test timing after injection

Ihave wet AMD in L eye and dry AMD in the R eye and of f- centre double vision. Following a new bleed I have to have an injection next Wednesday. I had an appointment booked for an eye test the following Thursday ie 8 days later.

Does anyone know what time should elapse between the two?

That should be fine though I would phone up the opticians and check with them

HI doubleorbust I asked the same question of one of the opthalmic nurses at my clinic in Belfast and she recommended 3 weeks after the injection. Best wishes.

I was told to wait 7 to 10 days after injection to have eye test done at opticians.

Have you a new bleed in your left eye, after a period of stability?

It is best to check with your ophthalmologist before seeing an optometrist with a view to obtaining new glasses. This is to check if your eyes are sufficiently stable to warrant considering changing them.

My L eye has been stable since last July. I've now spoken to my optician who told me to check with the ophthalmologist when I have my injection on Wednesday so that's what I intend to do. Thank you for your input.
