Does anyone have neuropathy in their legs and have you found anything that alleviates it?
I have and take 300mg x3 daily it helps and I have no side effects from it. I started at 100mg x2daily and slowly moved up.
Hi copdber, what is it u take?
I have neropathy in both legs, left leg from sole to above knee and right leg sole to just below knee. I find some slight alleviation from the weird sensations with gabapentin, a neurological pain killer of which you can increase the dose quite substantially to reach the level you need, this in conjunction with 'normal' painkillers. Hope this is of some help.
Best of luck, chin up!!
Hot bath, wrap them up warm and wear socks in bed. And when you are warm have a bit of stretch up.
agree with Thaddeus, so many meds can make it worse. Check the print in the meds u DO take as this is also a side-effect of a lot of them. I find as longs as my feet & legs r moist, I'm ok so LOADS of moisturiser on my feet & a good pair of thermal socks b4 jumping in2 bed does the trick 4 me!
Hi Twist
I have neuropathy in both legs and take Amitriptyline 25mg and Gabapentin 300mg both of which I find helpful for it. The neuropathy is a horrid extra we can do without. Hope it improves for you.x
