Lupus Awareness

Does anyone know if there is any Lupus talks or Awareness days where you can go and learn more about the illness / medication / meet other sufferers / doctors etc i have heard they do them in London near to St Thomas but is there any in North west as i would be very interested as i am sure others would too ??

I am from the North West and I attend the support group at North General Hospital in Manchester. Unfortunately the numbers of this group have dwindled over the years, but myself and another member are trying to keep it going (health permitting).

I can send you contact details for the chair of the North West lupus group if you like. Most of our groups have an AGM and information days with guest speakers. They'd be able to let you know about any they might have planned.

yes paul that would be great many thanks i was diagnosed 7 years ago but still dont understand it and would be great to speak face to face with others
