Strings of something coming from palate n joints.

Anyone heard of invisible, mucus causing strings of something coming from above areas. They go up nose, down throat and wrap round your body. Only show up under hi strength microscope. No-one so far seems to have heard of this but it causes chonic joint pain, eye symptoms, inside damage and terror of choking which frequently happens.

I've never heard of this, it sounds terrible, what is your doctor saying about it, what causes it?? How do you cope with it?

The docs treat me as though I'm nuts. I can't cope with it. I've cried more since this started than I've ever done in entire life. I'm one step short of suicidal. It's only my sense of humour that keeps me going, it's just gone awol at the moment. Still, life's a bitch then you die. I'm hanging in there, thank god Sher78 is back!

I remember learning about spinnbarkeit when I was a student, this was in relation to saliva. It's the stringy quality it can have sometimes. It is perfectly normal, & not dangerous. I guess it would be more noticeable in someone with Sjogren's, due to a dry mouth & the poor quality of saliva.

I've just had a look on Wikipedia, & it seems to say it can apply to any form of mucus throughout the body. So maybe this is what you mean. How does it effect you, jayniey?

It seems to be unbreakable, can't cut it or burn through it. Docs treat me as though I'm imagining it apart from rheumy. I now have breathing problems, terrible internal pain, pulmonary hypertension and feeling of being tied up like a parcel. Its stretchy but I just don't know what its made of. I'm really p****d off with it and just don't know what to do.

Morgellons?

I've already looked this one up. The docs don't acknowledge it exists though do they?

That is true. I dont know a lot about it, but then again, when I was diagnosed with ME back in the 80's some doctors totally dismissed it, -even within the same practice.

I'm new to this and I see where this was 3 years ago and wondering if you figured it out, I believe I have Morgellons and just wanting to know what you had figured out or what other symptoms you had experienced?

Not what you're looking for?
