Lupus flare up

Im in the middle f a lupus flare up ad suffering really badly with migraines....does anyone have a problem with this? and loss of vision??

Hi, I too am in a flare at the moment, hot sweats, migraines, balance and vision problems as well as the joint pains. Just a case of going with the flow, taking pain killers etc. No great news and hopefully yours wont last too long.

I'm new to lupus so it's all just going with the flow, seeing what I can do, what I can't do etc. I've had 3 good weeks started to feel 'normal' then wham. I'll do like you said dose myself up, listen to my body and chillout today. Tomorrow is a new day and with lupus being so unpredictable I may wake up feeling a new person!

Vision loss should never be ignored - especially when combined with severe migraine. Best to consult with your doctor/s straight away to sort out the cause of this combination of symptoms.

It could simply be caused by your medications, in which case there are easy solutions, but it could also be something 'other'.

Please be aware that lupus can effect the nervous system and blood vessels - brain and or eyes included. Often symptoms in eyes are neglected which can lead to permanent preventable damage. Always protect your vision with yearly check ups with an Opthamologist to rule out eye and or optic nerve damage.
