anyone find i hard to get long sleeved tops for summer
Tesco have lovely light cotton ones and M&S too x
Yes, i can never find clothers to cover me all up from the sun, grrr
I've got bought loads of long sleeved t-shirts in various colours from Primark and few long sleeved blouses that come up to the neck from BHS. I've been on a quest the last few years looking for suitable clothing since the doctor told me i must wear clothing thats uv protected. Some hopes..... I have only found a couple of items of clothing thats uv protected. I will try M&S though.
I've found that the UV protected ones are very expensive, however have found some cotton ones at M & S, and Sainsbury's clothing range. I do put cream on before putting them on though as I know the sun penetrates clothing.
The eclipse website has some web addresses for uv protective clothing again m&s next. Depending on the style this season again were sun block underneath if only linen or cotton. Have even made. Couple myself. One Sunsenceability clothing off the eclipse website I bough a sun proof bloero so its almost just a pair of sleeves and back and use that to turn short sleeve outfit into a long sleeve one. Best thing I bought.
I try to stock up in winter on light material and i also yry and buy light coloured and material cardigans
thanks great help
H and m have loads of tops like this and they've got a sale on at the moment! Good luck and enjoy your shopping trip! Always makes me feel better lol xxx
\I agree with Melinda, Primark long sleeve t-shirts are excellent. Loads of different colours, not too heavy for summer and they wash and wear brilliantly. Only advice I would give is as with most Primark clothing, buy a size up. I also got some good sunsafe cotton long sleeve tops from ebay, just do a general search and you should find them. Good luck and keep well.
Next do some on a mutilbuy which are long sleeve cotton tees. I agree about theM&S ones and wear their cardigans too which u can button waist up to your neck. I also wear a lot of long sleeve cardigans or jumpers from gap with a vest tip under them, they're really light and i usually get them at the outlet which is loads cheaper.
P.S. am also learning to sew so that I can make my own garments and have exactly what I want because its so hard to find the right things now.
great to know im not te only one - its so frustratin to keep lookin then tirednes creeps in cant do anymore - another pontless day
I'm seriously thinking of buying a new sewing machine. I had one years ago, i used to make things for myself and my daughters. Although my hands aren't as flexible as they were.
Gap is v good with thin cottons, button down styles and cardigans. I get them in the sale.
