whom suffers chest and lung pain, is it fybriomialga or lupus....

does anyone whom also suffers from fybriomialga experience sever pain in there chest and also there lungs, i know chest pain is a syptom but iam also experiencing pain in my lung i have had exra,s which are showing all is clear,,,???

I too suffer with some chest and lung pain, but have not been diagnosed with fibromyalgia, just lupus and Hughes. I was told it was pleuritis.

in reply to this: i have thyroide, fibr and arthritus, but wonder about lupus as they are so linked, I took the test online for lupus and had 10/10 of the symptoms but my dr just brushed it off....but on the other hand they ignored my fibro , i was diagnosed by a specialist. I see him next month so will talk to him about all the symptoms: sickness, tiredness (exhaustion), fatigue, dizzy spells, nose bleeds, migrain, tremours, pain everywhere from fibro, spasms so bad in lower back i could hardly walk, dry mouth skin rash, stomach issues....so would u say this is fibro just? i think not but im no dr.......I just feel i should be put down! oh and bad depression. wow! shocking aint it that dr get paid what they do and they never get it right....

Hi i hope you get some relief from chest pain soon!How would you describe the pain?I too have Fibromyalgia and recently did a Fibro phsiotherapy programme through my local hospital.Fibro mainly causes chronic pain and fatigue in our muscles and tendons,joints.I can not really say that i have experienced chest pain with it.I did have chest pain but this was from reacurring palpitations and i wore a monitor for two weeks,,fibro was not the cause. Have you had a recent chest infection of heavy cold and maybe the effects are staying with you ? i hope tou you will feel better soon.Regards..Dawn.

Hi i have chest pain all the time, i had plurisy/phenmonia/pericarditis a few times but plurisy was about 3 times a year for 20 yrs which really took the biscuit but since hydroxy its once a year but the pain in the chest is still there i was told i had fibromyalgia or chest wall pain which makes wearing bras difficult and ihug a pillow to sleep at night because i cant put to much pressure on my chest, and i dont let people hug me because the pain is terrible. The pain can mask other things thou like i found out recently that i have reflux which is acid in the stomach coming back up and gives me ulcers and sore throat but the pain is in the middle of your chest not what you would expect so do get checked out in case they can solve the pain. If you find an answer please blog because i would love to loose a few pills (30 ish a day at moment).

over the past 4 days i've had alot of chest pain i was told 4 years ago that i have gastro esophageal reflux disease & that's what gives me so much pain about 3weeks ago i was sent to the health heart clinc at my doctors they want to check my heart out because there's a history of heart problems in my family i dont think i could handle any more bad news from my doctor i have found out more about lupus on this site than any where else .
