Has anyone experienced sudden hot flashes even when it is cold which coincides with a red facial rash? I get a red rash on my cheeks and sometimes over my nose. I’ve been very sensitive to heat recently and it’s making me very uncomfortable. I’m worried about how I’m going to cope when it gets warmer outside.

Hot flashes and red rash on cheeks

Yeah that's normal side affect of Lupus, I think people sometimes look at me as if I was alcoholic or maybe it's just me being paranoid 😅
I also get flushes and the facial rash which then ends up covering large areas of my body - everywhere that the sun has previously been at. It’s difficult to know if it’s letrozole causing the flushes which is for cancer.
Hi thank you for your reply. It’s such a pain isn’t it? I get the hot flushes without even being in the sun at the moment and I’m not on any medication as I’ve not been diagnosed yet. I had a heat stroke a year ago when I was out in the sun for only around 10-15 minutes and like you developed a rash all over my body. I’ve never had such a reaction to being in the sun. I don’t meet my rheumatologist until September so I guess I’ll have to wait it out x
I have not experienced any of these issues sorry about that
I experience redness, more so on my left cheek. It also feels a bit numb.
