Dear Cath,

(Belated!) Happy New Year!

Thank you so much for completing our recent survey on medical care, symptoms and hormones.

We would greatly appreciate it if you could please now share the surveys with friends, colleagues and friends and on any social media you use please with the following links.

We are particularly short of people WITHOUT an autoimmune disease (important to compare with those with a disease) so if everyone who completed the survey could please send the "Gen Pop" survey below link to at least ONE (or more) friend or family member that would be amazing, thank you!

- If you do NOT have an autoimmune disease, please click on this link bit.ly/MM_GENPOP2024 to access the general population survey and information sheet.

Please could you also send the "Patients" link below to anyone/ any groups with autoimmune disease. We are particularly short of men and people of colour with autoimmune diseases:

- If you have ANY autoimmune disease, please click on this link bit.ly/MM_PATIENTS2024 to access the autoimmune survey and information sheet.

And please send the following link to any clinician colleagues/friends of any specialty (we are very short of GPs, endocrinologists, and Obs/gynaes!).

- If you are a CLINICIAN, please click on this link, bit.ly/MM_CLIN2024 to access the clinician survey and information sheet.

Everyone who completes the survey can choose to be entered into a prize draw with two prizes of £200 being drawn once the survey closes (likely end of Jan/beginning of February 2025

Thanks. Yes son is doing an amazing job.... Slacking on the dusting but keeping on top of dishes, laundry and hoovering. He made a Sunday roast and some brownies last night with supervision. Hugo is happy going out with friends every morning. Stitches came out on Friday and surgeon is happy.still non weight bearing but now in a full fibre glass cast for a few weeks instead of a plaster back slab cast. Managing the shower fine and can get about upstairs by crawling lol. Sanity still intact but puzzled out. Thank you for asking xx

Roast and brownies sounds just what's needed! Glad surgeon (and Hugo!) are happy and that you are still smiling, just about. Take it gently xx

Sounds wonderful that you are on the mend .I am very much looking forward to getting my lower leg sorted out soon and my knee keeps getting so painful. I have a twist in my shin. So, will see what consultant says when I see him next week after the review on my hip surgery if we can go ahead with it.

Not sure where I come under as I am classified under remission currently but I am told I have lupus like eye conditions so I am still under investigation for that I have been discharged by rheumatology 🤷🙄 to our disgust.. and disappointment.. really.. Eye Consultant Specialist was in total shock when she heard about it.. so just taking it a day as it comes now and managing the pain as they come.
