Tacrolimus vs cyclosporin

Hi,

I am currently working with my rheumatologist to plan for second pregnancy. My daughter is 3.5 years old and I was on tacrolimus during my pregnancy (I usually take MMF). I remained relatively well and stable throughout but there were alot of issues with maintaining the tacrolimus concentration and adjusting the dose. My doctors are great but I live in a small area so don't have the benefit of highly specialised doctors and they don't have lots of experience with tacrolimus. My doctor has just suggested that instead of using tacrolimus this time I could switch to cyclosporin instead. I can't really find much information to suggest using one over the other, so not sure which way to go other than that tacrolimus worked for me last time except for a lot of GIT disturbances. Just wondering if a) anyone had used both and had any experince between the 2 and b) which of the two other people have used during pregnancy.

As an extra note, I don't tolerate azathrioprine which is what is usually recommended first.

Many thanks!
