Hi all, I noticed in the mirror just now that my cheeks look red and irritated. They are also rough to the touch. I am not currently diagnosed with anything, and it has been a couple of years since my ANA was checked but it came back high positive a few times in a row and I deal with a lot of symptoms. I am happy to go into more detail for those who ask. This is the first time I noticed suspicious skin issues so wanted to share and get any thoughts. Thank you

I think you need to see a dermatologist to get a definitive answer. I get red burning cheeks sometimes, but I suspect they’re due to rosacea, rather than lupus. The main triggers are warm, dry environments and red wine, so it’s fairly manageable.
Take lots of photos and see if you can work out any triggers.
I get both rosacea and lupus butterfly rash that is on cheeks shape wings spares nasal fold.
Rosacea is where veins damaged from sun over years before used sun block or knew had lupus that creates facial flushing.
In sun if say ina car window 30 minutes skin goes red hot feel sick goes next day.
I wear sunblock I saw dermatologist who deals auto immune issues.
Hope u get seen diary sytpoms will help
