health insurance for going on holiday
my other half has a bank account with Barclays. They do one that is about £12 a month that covers us both and they covered all my pre-existing conditions without any premiums. It’s ongoing so once you are on it you can just keep going and travel as much as you want each year. Only advise any changes and cover up to 79 years. You can also add on other things like car break down etc.
Oh and I should add it’s worldwide.
We have that one too. They covered my lupus and associated lung disease/pulmonary fibrosis. Even APS as I’m not on any medication for it. My husband has Crohn’s and colitis and is covered too.
It’s great because my husband travels at least once a month for work, so it’s worth every penny, and we don’t have to think about insurance if we do a last minute weekend away.
They’re really helpful and friendly when you call them too.
Hi there,
We use Staysure and I must say we have never had any problems. I am 72 now but have been with them for at least 12 years and I have UCTD and Rheumatoid Arthritis. My husband is 75 and is generally healthy. I have claimed on 2 occasions in the past because of illness on holiday and both claims paid out with no hassles. Just be truthful about your conditions and give them all the information when you apply.
Good luck!
