Sorry to hear you are very unwell.
If you got the main lupus UK website and put travel insurance in the search box you will get some suggestions

I just call AARP. When I was younger than than 55 I called my health insurance company so they knew where I was going and I called my regular life insurance which is Mutual of Omaha here in USA. They’re prices are good. I don’t know where you live though. Good luck and have fun.

I looked at the go compare travel insurance site, you just tick the questions, much better than having to tell someone your medical history.
They check out the sites for you and you can choose the best one for you
I have lupus and travel to Cyprus every year I use staysure they cover medical conditions.
JD travel consultants covered my scleroderma/sjogrens/hypothyroidism/PBC/osteoarthritis and depression easily, or you can take the insurance and not cover your conditions with them.
Please don’t just take out the cheapest travel insurance policy you find. As you say you are very poorly Atm, you really need a good policy.
I don’t know where you are going..but if Brexit goes through the EEC
Countries may not still honour the European Health Insurance Card,& we will need to be well insured,....but do get one in case they do.....they are free.
Do check on that.
Make sure you understand exactly what is covered. It really is best not to do it on line because the wording is very confusing & you can think you are fully covered & you aren’t.
You could Google Travel Insurance with medical conditions....you will find a list of companies who specialise in those policies....they will also know the true position re Brexit.
You can then phone a few to see how they compare.
Make a list of all your health problems, together with all the drugs you are prescribed ....you can then get quotes from a few to compare prices.
Good Luck...hope you have a lovely holiday!
Definitely you should get travel insurance. I used to own a travel agency and sold mostly Travel Guard. It's relatively cheap and includes Life Flight and other expensive options. Yes, get it!
If it helps I recently changed mine after they put the premium up after my lupus diagnosis and am now with Aviva, like someone else said don’t get the cheapest as that’s not always the best and check ref the European medical coverage x
