Nytol herbal and other meds

HiReally struggling to get some sleep at the moment so I brought nytol herbal. Just wondered there's a reason I can't take it. I'm on steriods, immunosuppression., anakin and other meds

I took it when so was on high doses of steroids for GCA (Giant Cell Arteritis) -under GPs advise. But not every night -every 3rd or 4th and only for about 6 weeks in total.

If you’re not sure check online for interactions or ask your pharmacist.

Some other herbal remedies you could consider (Rachel, 2023). Beware fake Amazon reviews and scrutinise others carefully. One could be allergic to any ingredient☝️:

In my opinion nytol herbal doesn't really work, waste of money. I used the normal behind the counter nytol for years when I want to catch up on sleep or get to sleep because of a cough or cold. The chemist should be able to tell you if it's ok or not with your other medication. As I'm on pain meds (gabapentin) now and progesterone I don't really need it as I'm out for the count come 10pm.

I got an over the counter Boots antihistamine called Sleepeez Really helped to get my cycle on track. Worth a try! Hope you get some sort of relief. This comes with Love and Big hugs 🥰♥️

Thank for advise guys ended up contacting gp they've given me zopiclone for 2 weeks. 2 one last night ( does is 2 but wanted to see how 1 would affect me). Did sleep alot better.

Be aware that Zopiclone is highly addictive and meant to help with insomnia briefly, perhaps 2 weeks max! That’s why GPs rarely prescribe the drug on endless repeat prescription.But?☝️🧐
