hey there, I have under a week ago been diagnosed with lupus and I just have questions because I have exams coming up but lupus affects my ability to do exams so if you have it or know anyone who has it could you please give me some advice such as did the school/exam board give any support in your conditions and exams (because it could be that my symptoms can flare up during exams which wouldn’t be ideal) and what type of support can the school give for this (if there is any). I would really appreciate any response

You should speak to your exams officer at school and ask them for advice. There are procedures for special consideration/access arrangements that have to be followed. Each case is different but he/she will be able to give you the best advice. Examples of possible help could include using a word processor if you find writing tiring or in extreme cases you could have a scribe or extra time could be given in an exam if you require rest breaks. Good luck with your exams.
Hey, definitely worth asking for it! They might ask you to talk about how it affects you I get rest breaks and 25% extra time (brain fog, fatigue rest breaks to walk to ease joint pan as sitting makes it worse etc)
hey YellowSun, you've already had some top.advice so far. From my personal experience as a person with Lupus and having to support others with other conditions, I have no doubt your school and examiners will have to support you on the basis of "reasonable adjustments".
Don't worry, put your energy and concentration on your exams and.... Best of luck (not that you'll need it)
