Lupus flare ups

Thank you for letting me join iv had lupus for 20 years now I'm 56 married live in tullibody Scotland I'm on steroids for life they have attacked my joints teeth stomach etc not had a skin flare up for 4 years but all of a sudden its flared up big time on my face etc be great to hear from other ladies and men how they deal with their lupus thank you wilma knox

Hi I'm also scottish from a little place called Holytown near Bellshill, but have lived in Lancashire for yrs, I don't have a diagnoses yet been query lupus for approximately 6yrs now query sjorgrens as well, god knows how long I need to wait for diagnosis, very supportive and informative on here so welcome x

Hi Wilma, and welcome to this site. There's loads of help and lots of really helpful people. I am one of the lucky ones (so far), my lupus is stable with relatively mild symptoms. It's mainly small things but when I'm run down/?in flare they all come together and I get an idea of what a bad flare is like! I'm sure you'll get the help and support you need here. Heather
