My friend Barbara in America, who was once a member of this forum, sent me this brilliant card game devised by the Lupus Foundation of America.

I hope you all enjoy it as much as I did and it is a fun way of learning more about Lupus too.

Yep! I got loads wrong too. Amazing facts though. Most GPs need to have this sent to them. With an additional message that’s says “and also it hurts!”.

Nice one BL. 😆 I’ve tried it a few times because it gives you different cards every time. There is definitely a lot to remember as the cards show which also shows how complicated the condition is. 👍🏻👍🏻 xxx

Yes it definately is and to be honest ok we got a lot wrong but I’m really proud of my husband just in the knowledge that he cares enough to learn with me.thank you spotty-ewe it really was an eye opener xx

Yes quite shocking isn’t it but at least it helps confirm in our minds that this is all very real,a definate eye opener.Im just sitting here trying to do a “biggest concerns” list for my first rheumy appointment on Wednesday.

I don't want to blow it by forgetting it all or missing out the important things that most distress me,ive just did the card game again because it’s helping reinforce things for me I really appreciate that.take care x

Good idea to make a list of all your symptoms for your Rheumy, when they started or roughly how long you’ve had them and if you’ve noticed anything in particular that triggers them. Good luck with your first appt. Glad the cards have been of help. Xxx

They should sell them in packs then we could play them with our gps or better still buy the gps a pack so that while their all sitting on their arses hiding behind closed doors they might learn something x
