Reactions to Hydroxychloroquine

I was just wondering if there is anyone the same as me. I’ve heard a lot about people reacting to hydroxychloroquine and the tolerate the Zentiva brand better than the others. For me it’s the opposite way. I can only tolerate Quinoric but no more than 200mg/day on a full stomach otherwise any other brand causes severe stomach cramps, migraines and dizziness. I just wanted to know if there was anyone out there experiencing the same thing.

Hi there - I have been diagnosed 6 years and have learned we all react so differently to Hydroxychloroquine or any of the other drugs we take - i have the stomach problems with anything but Zentiva but not the headaches. A full stomach is essential I have found and I take mine with my last meal. Tell your Consultant next time. Good luck

Hi there. I have been on hydroxychloroquine for many years now and have had no problems with it. I just make sure I have regular eye tests and I take gastric resistant tablets to combat heartburn
