Update.

Hi everyone hope you’re all enjoying a lil more freedom and and the odd days of sunshine but still taking great care.

Here’s a few notes to let everyone know how I got on with my both my dr consultations yesterday. Well here goes...

Yesterday morning was a telephone consultation with my gynae about my op that was cancelled last April, when I was in hospital had pre med and was ready to go to when the anaesthetist started vomiting in theatre. Whoops a daisy, Op cancelled then wham! Coronavirus struck on the world. Op cancelled until further notice. Now that’s over a year ago and my rectocele (prolapse) has gotten so much worse. The consultant said from what I described he’s not only going to have to repair things in my back passage but is going to have to reconstruct my virgina wall from the front. Now having so many health issues I’ve been warned of a much longer time to recuperate than he’d originally told me which, several months and this could very well need doing again 😫 He has promised he’ll get me in as soon as he can but is not allowed to operate just yet. Once the hospital has been given the go ahead his secretary will be in touch, he hopes within the next 2 months 🤞🏻

Yesterday pm was video consult with dermatologist who I’d not previously met. He’s been shielding and is not yet allowed to do face to face in hospital appointments. A very nice man who tried to be as helpful as he could. My eczema had pretty well cleared and it was difficult for him to see how dry and cracked my skin is. Somehow he’d not seen the pics I’d sent prior to the appoint so have resent today. He has said if eczema flares again to phone his secretary and I will be able to get an appointment with a junior dr within a couple of days. He wasn’t willing to prescribe anything as he didn’t want to things to flare by being given the wrong meds (fare enough to the man). He is going to study my complete list of complex medication to see if any may be the course of eczema being worse the last few years.

So that’s how things went yesterday, no further forward but at least I’ve not been forgotten, not that I’d let that happen lol.

I do hope you’re all as well as you can be and you and everyone you love as well as careers are taking care still. COVID is still out there so please guys look after yourselves and others around you. 💐❤️
