Another update

Thankyou so much everyone for all your kind wishes, well was waiting all day yesterday for consultant to ring with biopsy results and guess what he didn’t ring 😫 I phoned his secretary at 3pm yesterday who said she would email him but he has been in clinic all day but she did say I can tell you that your booked in for surgery on the 29th of this month - so suppose at least I have a date - I so hope he rings me today as my nerves can’t take it 🥰

I’m sorry you didn’t get the call as expected, 🙈 it’s awful waiting and this is the sort of thing they don’t realise makes you anxious, and if you were told you’d get a call then you should have but hey 👋 hang in there I hope you get a call today or soon. Hi svfarmer, re awaiting call on your Biopsy results, it is awful that you have been kept hanging on. They must know that their patients will be “up to high doh with worry and apprehension”! There was one positive that came out of it, your date for Surgery.

Hopefully, you will get that call at some point today.

It is the not knowing that is the worst thing. I’m so sorry to hear you’ve been left high and dry waiting for that call. They don’t seem to realise what anxiety and worry they cause by making promises they can’t keep. Every hour must feel like a day and every time the phone rings you’ll be jumpy thinking ‘this is it’. Horrible! And so unfair on top of all you are going through. But I’m so pleased you have shared this ‘waiting game’ with us as we are all on tender hooks with you and will be with you all the way. Glad you have at least got your date for surgery, so you can work on your hair etc for going to the theatre on the 29th😄. Keep us posted SV. 🤗🙏😘Xx

I've been on tenterhooks since your last post sv 🤗so u must be feeling ultra anxious..gentle 🤗🤗🤗to you n I hope he rings today. Maybe no news is good news? And as others have said u now know when you're having your op n u can prepare yourself for that.

Oh, the waiting is hard. Remember you cannot know anything until you get the call. Any attempt to figure things out, it is futile. I was just in your situation. I never knew why my biopsy results took days longer than the doctor told me.

Oh honestly that just is not good enough. If he cannot ring surely the decent thing would be to call and explain or ask his secretary to call you. I am so sorry lovely. I hope you get the call soon xxx
