Hi! I just finished this hand embroidered towel I actually started it last year and then had an accident with our new puppy on Feb. 6. I broke the main neck bone (supposedly the hardest bone in the body), a few other neck bones and my right wrist. It was a difficult and lengthy recovery. I was in quarantine before the Pandemic. I did not think I would ever sew again after trying a few times. But I tried again this month and was able to finish the towel. I am starting a new one and am so glad that I can.
I have enjoyed everyone's sharing their creativity and want to thank them for inspiring me to try again.
Healing hugs.

Adorable! I am delighted that you have recovered from your accident and do your crafts. Would you believe I have ordered three hand embroidered bathroom towels recently from Etsy? Maybe I should learn the craft!

I understand the sense of achievement completing a task (whatever that task maybe) when you have faced adversity and how much acknowledgment means .xxx
That sounds a nasty accident Pumpkin,😫 but so glad you are making a good recovery, and that you have been able to get back to your sewing. What a brilliant job you’ve made of the towel, 👏🏻👏🏻 and so appropriate for Valentine’s Day!💕 Looking forward to seeing your next creation. Keep safe and cosy Pumpkin. 🤗😘x
Spottyewe, Thank you for your kind words. It was a nasty accident. The doctors said I was lucky not to have been paralyzed or dead - all just trying to leash train Gigi. She is a border collie and extremely strong - me - not so much. She came and got beside me in the yard after it happened. She is a joy, but I am not allowed to put her on a leash anymore.
Oh dear that was awful. I had a border collie years ago and yes he was very strong and not a joy to have on the leash. Of course they are a working breed so full to the brim with energy and enthusiasm when young. You were very unlucky to have this happen, but very lucky it wasn’t worse. Take good care Pumpkin and give the lovely Gigi a hug from me. 🤗🤗xx

Krazykat, Yes, it was some accident and I am lucky that I survived. Gigi is way stronger than I am and an exuberant puppy. No more leash walks now. i can't compete with a squirrel in sight
Omg Pumpkin what a dreadful accident. Good job we love our dogs 🐶. I have had numerous nasty falls over my two but thankfully none as bad as yours. You are amazing to continue to sew after all you have been through. Your towel is so very cute. Gentle Cwtches xxx
