New Project Finished

Finally finished a new project. I still can't believe I am able to embroider again after breaking my wrist and main neck bone so severely. For the longest time, I couldn't at all. It is a bit more challenging, but so glad I kept trying and grateful.

Healing hugs.

Thank you. It is so good for me to always have a project. It keeps me grounded and get my mind off of lupus, etc.

Healing hugs.

I can understand how hard not being able to knit is right now. I hope you will be able to knit again or find something new. Many years ago, when I first couldn't teach anymore, I started doing cross stitch. Then, I couldn't do it because it became too hard, especially with the brain fog. Following a chart and counting became impossible. Then I started to do free style embroidery where I can do what I want. When I thought I wouldn't be able to do it again, I felt like I had lost another part of myself again. I am learning to make my designs not as detailed as in the past. It seems like our illnesses keep making us lose parts of ourselves and then have to reinvent new parts. I have faith that you will find something else that you will enjoy.

Healing hugs.

That’s beautiful, you are gifted, I’m glad to hear you can enjoy your embroidery work again, it’s good for the soul 😀
