Hello everyone

In view of our month lockdown I think this pic shows us that we must keep our loved ones as close as possible to help us thru this.

Keep as well and safe as you can.

Glad you like it stiff. The baby was born at Chester Zoo so a symbol of hope too. I thought its quite a moving picture.

Im sorry your still having problems getting the help.you need for your symptoms. I do hope it changes for you soon.

Ive battled and won against my local gastro dept wanting to discharge me so keep fighting stiff.

Keep safe and well as possible. Xx

Nice to have a story behind too ๐Ÿ‘

Wow ๐Ÿคฉ thatโ€™s good news misty , what they wanted to discharge you before help? Sorry I donโ€™t know about this ๐Ÿคทโ€โ™€๏ธ

Thankyou misty you keep well and safe too ๐Ÿ™๐Ÿค—x

They wanted to discharge me as I'd had a clear colonoscopy (is a relief) but I have Ulcerative Colitis that needs keeping an eye on and I've insisted that it should be!. I'll get a letter soon with what they've agreed. I spoke to a registrar who kept saying I need to talk to the Consultant!. This is why I say, stiff, we must stand up for ourselves as its not our fault we're ill!.

Keep safe and as well as possible. Xx

well done you ๐Ÿ‘ yes you are right of course just doesn't always work but I'm very glad you're onto it and you're right it should be and I cannot understand why they do not see the benefits to them treating us too as with the problems that can arise prevention is better than cure.

take care misty you too keep safe and well as possible ๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿ™xx

Thank you stiff for your lovely message. My success is going to be measured by the outcome letter ill receive this week. I bet you feel the same, rather worried if its so different from what is agreed on the phone or in clinic. ?. I do also agree re prevention is better than cure but troubke is hospital medicine has lost that at the mo due to covid.

I am sorry how much your strugglinv for help which i hope changes soon. Keep fighting and be safe and as well as possible. Hope your having a nice weekend. Xx๐Ÿค—๐Ÿ’ž๐Ÿค—

Iโ€™m afraid this was going on even before covid but it needs to be reinstated ,prevention and early screening, and treatment ๐Ÿคทโ€โ™€๏ธ Itโ€™s 17 months since my facial problems begun and Iโ€™ve only seen the facial specialist to rule out bells and blepharitis as suggested by gpโ€™s and referred urgently from specialist to neuro but not seen. I went to opticians worried about eyes who said as I was waiting to see neuro heโ€™d have a quick look but best I see neuro and gave me drops as eyes very very dry he said where I donโ€™t blink. Neuro is doing bloods but Iโ€™d be happy to see someone as other symptoms flare too. Bit of worry ๐Ÿคทโ€โ™€๏ธ Prevention would be nice rather than symptoms slowly worsening ๐Ÿคทโ€โ™€๏ธ I do hope your letter is as agreed , that is a worry as can differ so much. But fingers crossed ๐Ÿคž

Yes good weekend so far Thankyou , my son has moved back into our town today from afar so Iโ€™m happy heโ€™s nearer. Hope you enjoy the rest of your weekend and hope the letter holds true to agreement ๐Ÿ™

Take care ๐Ÿค—xx

Thank you for your lovely message stiff. I remember your case now from a while ago. Its worrying not having the right specialist treatment when symptoms are worsening. Glad you finally got to a neuro who is doing bloods. What a long wait!. Was he helpful?. It sounds to me like you need a Rheumy toofor your other symptoms. It might be that the neuro suggests this once blood resukts are back. It can all take such a long time and you look round and a years gone by!.

Im glad your son has moved to be nearer you. That will be lovely. Is your daughter still living with you?.

Ill let you know what the letter is like. Thanks for your lovely wishes. Keep well and safe. Xx

yes it is a long wait but as you know appointments are hard to come by and then pandemic on top๐Ÿคทโ€โ™€๏ธeuro has been very helpful so far in asking for once what my symptoms are, no one else has done this , and taking an interest and looking at bloods elsewhere with the interest shown in helping for that I am grateful, can't ask for more than that at moment.well id like to be seen rather than just phone but ๐Ÿคทโ€โ™€๏ธ sign of times I guess. yes two years over and it does seem a long time and isolating, without pandemic.but then ive had the support and advice from you lovelies here so not so isolated and much help. I will get there eventually I'm surely hope๐Ÿ™

yes there's a big age gap between son and daughter ,she just turned a teenager this year so still at home๐Ÿ™๐Ÿ˜‚

yes misty please keep informed with your letter ๐Ÿคž

Thankyou ๐Ÿ™ best wishes look forward to next pic ๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿค—x

Thanks again stiff for your good wishes. I do appreciate it. Im really pleased your neuro appt was very helpful and hopefully soon you will get the blood results and a plan of action. Its good he wanted to investigate further . I know how you must be feeling though, been in this hopeful position before only to have it dashed because of normal results. Would i be right?. One of these times though its got to come right and maybe this will be the one. I also agree re the difficulties of tel appt's. Not ideal for us or them really. Fingers tightly crossed ๐Ÿคžfor you. Im so pleased the forum has helped so much too. Its been a godsend to me and many of us. I think you'll like this weeks pic too. Keep safe. Xx

P.s, hope your kids get on despite the big age gap.

Thankyou misty ๐Ÿ™ yes you just donโ€™t know if the Avenue theyโ€™re going is the right one as indeed I still think I need a rheumy but not a local hospital one where I had the experience I had. But yes as much as I always prefer to never be near a hospital I must admit Iโ€™d like to see him ๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ™ we will see what near future brings. Iโ€™ve just been looking through my photos and think oh I didnโ€™t mention the dipping in skin I didnโ€™t mention that rash, those weeks of gastric pain ๐Ÿคทโ€โ™€๏ธ Itโ€™s just a never ending story . I was reading earlier that symptoms are whatโ€™s explained but signs are what can be seen๐Ÿคทโ€โ™€๏ธ Wonder if Iโ€™m using wrong language ๐Ÿคทโ€โ™€๏ธ๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ˜‚ I do fear my hopes being dashed and waiting is hard .

Yes son and daughter get on well, probably because of the age gap and him being left home ๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ‘though we see him daily ๐Ÿ‘

Be safe be well as can be ๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿ™๐Ÿค—x

Thanks so much Helen, I will catch up with you soon, Iโ€™ve had a bad week with awful rib and breast pain, itโ€™s been so uncomfortable , anti inflammatories take the edge off but giving me bad headaches! I canโ€™t seem to get the balance right, Iโ€™m glad Iโ€™m seeing my rheumy on Tuesday! Good luck with your injections on Monday, I do hope you get some relief, itโ€™s been a long time coming! Will be thinking of you.

Enjoy strictly too, itโ€™s strange without the audience but still really enjoyable, we definitely do need some sparkle in our lives at the moment!

Stay safe my lovely. Catch up soon ๐Ÿ˜˜๐Ÿ๐Ÿฅฐ๐Ÿ‚๐Ÿ’ƒ๐Ÿ•บ๐ŸปXxx

Hi Misty, lovely picture once again. Although it is an orangutan with her baby, it reminds me of Johnny Morris visiting a female gorilla and her baby in a zoo. Not only did she hand her baby to Johnny but she ended up sitting on his lap! Now that must have been painful but whoโ€™s going to argue with a gorilla? ๐Ÿ˜‚

I hope all goes well with your injections on Monday. Iโ€™ll be having my kidney function test that day. But we can enjoy Strictly before then. Have a good weekend. ๐Ÿค—๐Ÿ˜˜๐Ÿ’

misty14โ€ข in reply toSpotty-ewe

Thank you spotty for the wonderful reminder of johnny morris and the gorilla. I watched him too and loved his programs. so agree you dont argue with a gorilla or oranguatan.

Thank you so much for your lovely email. Im going to reply soon. Also a big thank you for remembering monday. I do hope we bring each other luck and you get good news about your kidney. It must be such an added worry.

Im also really sorry about the cauterisation making you worse. Thats awful so i hope ENT will see you PRONTO. They should.

Im really looking forward to strictly. Its lovely escapism. Hope you enjoy it too.

Keep safe and as well as possible. Xx

Such a beautiful image. Thank you for sharing, we all need beauty and hope in such a depressing and worrying time. I think the world has gone to hell in a hand basket but then there are animals โค๏ธโค๏ธโค๏ธ

So pleased you liked it cecily. It is such a moving image i thought and as you rightly say hope of the newborn. He was born at Chester Zoo so good for their breeding program.

Its going to be animals and nature which will help us thru this awful time.

Keep well and safe. Xx
